Fastned
New fast-charging stations for electric vehicles from the provider Fastned are currently being built in Kloten - a project in which KIBAG is heavily involved. In addition to the construction work, KIBAG is also supplying sustainable building materials from its own production, which actively contribute to reducing CO₂ emissions.
KIBECO RECO concrete, a cement-reduced concrete that also permanently binds CO₂, and the completely cement-free lean concrete KIBECO MIGROX Oulesse have already been used.
Townhouse Hegibach
A modern residential and commercial building with ten apartments and two commercial spaces has been built at Hegibachstrasse 1 in Zurich. The townhouse is the result of a quality-oriented architectural competition. Particular attention was paid to the use of an innovative concrete in accordance with Annex ND, which made it possible to reduce the minimum load. This enabled the environmental impact to be reduced by 35% without compromising on performance.
The project saved 370 tons of cement and permanently bound 35 tons of CO2 in the concrete.
