Art meets regenerative building materials
How can regenerative building materials become part of a work of art? Together with artist Bob Gramsma and Oxara, we made exactly that visible at the government building in Frauenfeld—as part of Bob Gramsma's Kunst am Bau-project round table PD#24324.
For the artwork, an organically shaped formwork was modeled directly from local excavated material. This temporary negative mold was then poured with KIBECO Cleancrete Oulesse, our cement-free concrete. A unique combination of nature, material innovation and artistic design.
The concrete was dried and then removed from the formwork. Now it is visible: a round table made of CO₂-reduced concrete, which enriches the public space in Frauenfeld and shows how demolition material and excavated material can be used to create places of encounter and reflection.
A strong sign of how circulation and creativity can shape the future together.
