On June 14, 2022, the time had finally come: the first KIBECO Talk was a resounding success at the UN Residency in Zurich, bringing together various players from the fields of politics, science and business.

 

The overarching theme of "Creating value together with courage and commitment" was discussed and new approaches in the field of climate-friendly construction were evaluated.

Many thanks go to Prof. Dr. Reto Knutti, climate scientist at ETH Zurich, Patrick Suppiger, Managing Director of Betonsuisse, Thomas Hügli, President of the Swiss Climate Foundation and Christoph Duijts, Head of Building Materials at KIBAG, as well as Valentin Gutknecht, Co-Founder of neustark and Gnanli Landrou, Co-Founder of Oxara. They all not only answered critical questions from the audience, but also provided an insight into their approaches and ideas, which stand for a more sustainable future and lay the foundations for further developments in the field of climate-friendly construction.
